Mr. Schaap is Director of Finance at Signal Peak Partners. Prior to joining Signal Peak, Mr. Schaap worked for seven years at Siltstone Capital, a multi-strategy alternative investment firm focused on niche asset classes including energy private equity, legal private credit, and real estate. At Siltstone, Mr. Schaap led A&D underwriting, valuation, and strategic planning across multiple portfolios exceeding $300 million of aggregate assets under management. Mr. Schaap holds a B.A. degree from Rice University in Mathematical Economic Analysis, with significant additional coursework in statistics and computational modeling. While at Rice, Mr. Schaap was a four-year member of the rowing team and served as team captain for two seasons.
